I went to a one room grade school. I knew that such entry into the USA was against the law when I was in 5th grade.
How the hell do such people get elected to Congress??? No wonder we have such crazy laws.
She, along with many liberals and Democrats, live daily in the state of confusion.
Meanwhile, these politicians live in gated, majority white communities.
It is amazing to think a federal elected official believes the president can make up a law all on his own from thin air, and that the congress and the rest of the government would just go along with it.

I watched video of this exchange several times. Someone ought to take the clip, and break it into a 30-second commercial and just run it about four weeks prior to the election.

Hirono and Cortez are products of a public school system that was created for the sole purpose of teaching basic skills that were needed by factory workers, and nothing more. Colleges were places that taught advanced knowledge to inventors and entrepreneurs. Since the Democraps and RINOs drove our factories overseas, the purpose of our public school system has changed to the creation of socialists, and colleges have moved to various “studies” that produce a product called misery. I snuck into a campaign event for a progressive candidate in the 2016 election (he lost). He had a board where people could write ideas on a form he passed out and pin them up. One of the biggest vote getters was to morph STEM into STEAM (add the arts). My “build a wall on our southern border” went nowhere.
If Hirono is “confused” about what part if illegally entering the US breaks the law, then Mitch McConnell should remove her from the Committee.
