Medical marijuana has been legal for several years in Michigan. There are many times more pot shops in my area of town than there are bars. I still see a lot of cars whose drivers drive stupidly or recklessly but I can’t say if there are more than there were pre-legalization.
One thing I have noticed, though, is young black men seem to act considerably more politely and are much less outwardly hostile (not so with young black women - they’re still mostly nasty). Cause and effect? No, not necessarily...just an observation.
Full legalization (i.e. including recreationally) will be a ballot proposal in November. It will likely pass. I have mixed feelings about it. Not sure yet how I’ll vote, but I like having a say in it.
Aaaah Now your beginning to understand what the dimocrapy party is all about... Sedating their base... Narcotics is the lives blood of their party... ANYTHING that separates them from their supply is a risk to their hold on the poor... Such as a WALL.. Most all those people are poor and homeless because of narcotics, it pulls them down, makes them depended on the one who supplies the fix... In other words, the democratic party...
It'll work for a while.... The English did it in China.. But the Chinese are smarter then your basic street ape, and even seem to be a bit smarter then the gringos. It may take them a little longer before they wise up.... :)

Guy in our neighborhood was prone to fits of anger and violent behavior....smokes marijuana now and he seldom has these fits I understand and is fully employed now. He’s moved on and actually bought his own home.
So I can’t argue against it for people who need it.
