“Maybe it will be a.passing fad???”

The young people are almost gone and it’s full of middle aged women posting vacation pics and virtue signaling.

I created an account because I live in Kentucky and all my family is all over the country. It was a way to stay in touch with everyone. However it’s outlived its usefulness. I was just talking to my wife last week about abandoning the account or closing it. I really don’t use it anymore.

It has always been a fad.
Facebook took the market from MySpace when it attracted students.
Millennials are moving to Snapchat or other options.
FB is going to be dead in 10 years.

In the beginning, it was nothing sort of an amazing service.

To be able to contact old friends and to catch up with family you didn’t see often, was invaluable.

But then, more trashy people started living their trashy lives through it. people under 18 brought their high school drama. People then saw it as a soapbox to blast their unsolicited political opinions + the lynch mobs that resulted, and then there was all of the tacky add-ons that made it a complete dumpster fire that most of us avoid like the plague.

The fad has passed. It’s become the place where grannies share recipes and geezers share fart jokes.

All the cool kids have gone elsewhere, cause they don’t want granny seeing their beer pong selfies.

It is a good way to keep track of family and old friends and I have. Course it does offer the opportunity for a good fight which is also fun’

I figured this was coming since I am using it less and less and am sure that is a general reaction.
