Italians and Greeks have a history of large scale assimilation to the dominant culture in the U.S. over the past hundred years, despite the presence of such relatively small enclaves as Little Italy in New York City. Italians and Greeks also acquitted themselves quite well fighting for the U.S. in WWII. Both Italian and Greek immigrants arrived in the U.S. during the 1890’s sponsored under controlled legal immigration. Where are you coming from with your careless pronouncements, newbie?
