Unlikely. The financial wreckage of 15 years of Liberal party rule in Ontario is staggering and will require him to be quite busy dealing with that. His position is similar to a US state governor but with probably somewhat more power. The federal Conservative party has a leader named Andrew Scheer and he would have to oust him to be able to become PM of Canada.
