I live in a very liberal area and have been ‘ghosted’ by 4-5 so called friends in the past 2 years.
Talking about people I have invested decades into.
My little girl asked me today “why don’t people like your favorite President, Mommy?” I’m going to have to tell her to keep my “favorite” on the DL (or her grades and friendships might suffer, won’t tell her that part).
Are they part of your faith community? God should be bigger than politicians in everybody’s life if it is sane. Maybe you just lost shallow acquaintances. I actually agree on a lot of things with some screaming liberals, because we also agree on things greater than politics.
It’s notable how some parts of the bible appear to be liberal screeds. Taking this into the secular civic world is dangerous, but it does point up how at least neighborhoods should be.
