I have a dear friend who is a Kasich Republican. He is screaming how Trump is taking the GOP down with him. I pointed out that Trump was supposed to lose the 2016 Election and destroy the GOP. And now the GOP is at its strongest since 1928. Trump has 90% support in the GOP according to Rasmussen--and his overall approval is where Barack Obama's was at the same point in the first term. I asked, "How many times do you have to be in error before you start questioning your assumptions?"

He then responded that if the GOP gains in Congress this fall, it will be in spite of Trump. I can only face palm at that remark. If voters like the good economy, are we saying that Trump gets no credit?

Another #NEVERTRUMP friend in the same e-mail conversation then noted that Rasumussen is "an outlier." Really? So Trump only has 80% GOP support????

When Trump won my MIL freaked out and said Trump will destroy the supreme court. Heck she still has a ‘I miss Bill’ sticker on her car.
