I am questioning how you know what Huber is doing and you clearly don’t. None of us do.
Of course we don't know with absolute certainty what Huber is doing. We are talking about degrees of certainty.
It is most likely that Session IS recused because he has stated, even under oath, that he is recused.
It is most likely that Rosenstein is in charge, because Rosenstein is next in command, Sessions has stated that he is, and that all Deep State DOJ activity that we can see has been dealt with by Rosenstein.
And it's most likely that Huber, beyond his normal tasks, has been tasked to do what is stated in the Boyd/Sessions memos, which is to allocate investigation resources.
If you want to hope for what is unlikely, what is not supported by the evidence, then as I said, good luck with that.
I think it's best to proceed to comment about what is likely.
