Partner, I am originally from West Texas but I moved to the Houston area, but for some reason you can not get the West Texas part out of me because I just love this area and I love its solitude and peacefulness. Of course, you can feel this solitude and peacefulness in all of the western part of the U.S.

I am grateful to my heavenly father that I have been in every western state except for Oregon and I still have a lot of family and friends spread out in several of these western states.

I’m from West Texas ranch country, near the border, lived in a far NW burb of SA for some years-hubby was in the military and later his civilian job was there, too-but we simply could not stand living in the city itself, and escaped to here some years ago-I don’t go to SA unless my guy insists it is my turn to spend time at his place-and work is my reason to only stay 24hrs-I hate the traffic, the noise, smell of exhaust fumes and the light pollution-in my humble opinion, it is a dangerous and totally unhealthy place to live...

My best friend and employer is from a ranch in the mountains of Oregon, near the Calii border, but he has been an adopted Texan for nearly 45 years-he visits his family in Oregon every year, but he avoids any cities there-it makes him sad to see what a liberal s***hole his home state has become...
