Well, anyone who nurtured a tiny blossom of hope for San Francisco under the new mayor - sorry about that. I’m thinking the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah would fall under the category of civic improvement.
Shouldn’t she be out there with a broom and a hose cleaning the $#*+ off the sidewalks? Walk before you run honey.
Just a thought, that wouldn’t it make more sense, to try to get people clean and sober, and maybe even have government programs for that, instead of government programs to help druggies feed their addictions?
San Francisco sounds like a real world example of extreme liberalism. They have been so liberal about homelessness, for example, that they have actually attracted more homeless.
They are overwhelmed with issues such as feces on streets and sidewalks. All due to wanting to be liberal towards the homeless.
As a sanctuary City, who knows what undesirable or illegal activity is happening de to that?
Now will SF become a drug Mecca, because they are determined to he liberal towards drugs?????

There is no way to safely inject street drugs — so, yes an oxymoron at best.
Here in BC, where we’ve had these government-sponsored drug-consumption sites for years; they recently changed the terminology to something like “supervised consumption sites”. They finally (tacitly) admitted they’re not “safe”.
Convenient though — no problem finding a supply, in the flourishing street-drug markets that surround each site.
They’re even doing this in small, conservative towns in eastern WA — and soon, everywhere else.
So this is what gets you elected as mayor of SF now? A place to shoot up? What is she going to do for the poopers?
I wish we could deport all the druggies to Mexico so they can be close to their supply.
