The Queen truly is a remarkable woman who has served her country well over many decades - this despite the fact she never even wanted the job. I believe she is deserving of great respect.
Many underestimate the power of the royal family, if for no other reason than its wealth and the Queen’s stature and relationships with world leaders.
Unfortunately, the Windsor well has run dry. When the Queen passes, that will be the effective end of the family’s stature and power. They will fade away and the world will barely notice.
One thing to add: I’m proud of our President for NOT bowing. As much as I do respect the Queen, the duly elected President of the United States should not bow to anyone. And neither should any American. One exception: bow before God in heart, mind, and deed.
