Wondering if the driver of the Mercedes thought that the laws of physics would prevail.

I tend to yield to big SUVs and trucks even when I have right of way. Yes, I'm in the right. No, I don't want to die, so I'll let off the gas or hit the brakes.

Not sure Clooney follows that school of logic. Or understands basic physics.

I tend to yield to big SUVs and trucks... I am a life-long boater, and know all the "rules of the road" when it comes to boating and yielding the right of way. When it comes to yielding to other vehicles and boats, I refer to it as the "Laws of Tonnage".
