Germany is often cloudy, and it’s on the same latitude as south-central Canada!
That’s why I said at times that unless you live south of Sendai, solar power in Japan is not that useful, no thanks to the harsh winters on the Sea of Japan side and in northern Japan. Here in California, solar power is viable because there is enough sunny days to make it worthwhile in most of the state.
