I think we’re at the point where the President views our allies for the most part as liabilities rather than assets.
If that were to be proven true, and it rings true to me, then the USA should immediately pull out of NATO and raise tariffs on imports form the EU to extremely high level.

I can’t help the headline that al-Reuters chooses to publish. They want to go on the record being utterly dishonest (which is their forte anyhow), they will do so.
We ought not have to stayed out of WWII for as long as we did. We only got into it when Hitler declared war on us. Churchill admonished us that what happened there was utterly preventable and the malingerers allowed it to happen.
