The woman in pink is not Princess Alexandra.

She is the Queen’s lady in waiting. Her name is Fortune Fitzroy, and she is the Dowager Duchess of Grafton.

We are both wrong; but I did work it out upthread at post 2432.

Fortune Fitzroy is not the woman identified by the People magazine reporter linked in post 2432; rather it is another lady-in-waiting, Virginia Fortune Ryan Ogilvy, Countess of Airlie. No wonder we were confused. I went for the wrong Ogilvy, and you went for the wrong Fortune. See the links at 2432 above.

Countess of Grafton was born in England. Countess of Airlie was born in America, and apparently has been used by the Queen to liaise with Americans on many occasions.
