Sounds like a great idea. Are usually do end up tearing the pieces and stretching them up when they are then. And they are all misshapened by the time they get to the pan.

Did they separate so you end up with two pieces, or one thicker one?

I kept them together..if you notice the bacon slicing has really gotten too thin.
