PGA 3 day event. Tournament formerly called Greenbrier Classic. President Trump arrived the first day to kick off the event.

President Donald Trump spoke to the Salute to Service event Tuesday at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., held in conjunction with the PGA Tour’s there stop this week.

During his speech, he recognized several current PGA Tour pros in the crowd, including Bubba Watson, Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson. Trump also called out PGA Tour Champions player John Daly.

“I like Phil, and Phil I think likes me,” Trump said.

Amid his remarks on various policy items, and praise for the military, he offered some plaudits for golfers.

“These are PGA players. These are unbelievably talented people. They’re talented in their mind and in their body,” Trump said. “Their muscles are strong but their mind has to be stronger. It’s tough. And these are tough people.”

Housed under the West Virginia Wing of The Greenbrier Resort, the top-secret, super-sized bunker was built for all 535 members of Congress during the Eisenhower era. And, The Greenbrier, which has been welcoming guests from around the world since 1778, including 26 presidents and countless celebrities.

I was too wired up to sleep well.

Well I got my beans picked. And then I discovered numerous zucchini hiding among the leaves. And then the same with cucumbers. What the heck am I gonna do with all those things!

Last year I only planted two plants each of cucumber and zucchini. Both died. So this year I planted about 6 to 8. All lived and are thriving. I hate it when that happens! And my neighbors seem to be fond of neither. They like the tomatoes, peppers, green beans, and corn.

Color just won't stay on gray or white hair. If you watch, you will see a cycle of his hair looking golden blond, then getting progressively lighter over a couple of weeks, then golden blond again, then progressively lighter... (Commenting for a friend.)

I hadn’t thought of that. I think I will go get him some rain water out of my rain water buckets. I collect it to feed the blueberries.

He Doesn’t like our city water, he must not like the chlorine. I always catch him drinking out of dirty puddles and if he can, out of one of the rain buckets

I tried pickles last year and they were mushy. I’m not growing pickling cucumbers and perhaps that’s the problem?

I did make some refrigerator bread and butter pickles yesterday and they are good, still crunchy. But it’s when I apply heat to can them that they get mushy. I might put up a few jars of fresh ones but I don’t have room for a lot!

I do love cucumber soup though. Discovered it when I had a plethora of cucumbers. I can peel and freeze some of the cucumbers for the soup, but after freezing green beans I’m running out of freezer space. And I still have the whole corn crop to go!

This trying to be self-sufficient is exhausting. And even somewhat exasperating when the crops go well because of space limitations.

Gal Gadot (actual last name Gadot-Varsano). She is Israeli and the name is Hebrew: גל גדות‎.

lol, I just realized that means it must be gray or white! I don’t even know what my real color is now. I suppose I should find out, if it is white I would keep it that way. Or if it was a pretty gray I would keep it that way. It was ugly mouse brown before so I covered it up. It might just be old ugly mouse brown/gray now.
