Trump is also getting his recommendations from the Federalist Society, so I don’t worry about the judges.
But I am MUCH MORE WORRIED about our side enabling Shuemer to control the Senate and leaving AT LEAST two Supreme Court seats open for the Democrats to fill the next time they get a chance.
I agree, which is all the more reason to get a conservative challenger in there to take the reigns now before the primary next month. Scott is toxic to the entire GOP ticket in Florida, including to House candidates and our candidates for state races. Again it’s not a purity thing, ultimately voters on practical and they’ll support a conservative who’s at least solid on the core issues even if they deviate here and there. The problem is, amnesty and mass immigration is absolutely THE core issue for the nation and conservative movement’s survival, and it’s so fundamental that RINO’s on this issue turn off the base to the entire party and encourage conservatives to stay home. Scott’s pro-amnesty stance is poison to the whole ticket. It wasn’t just a few statements here and there, it’s the fact that he joined in the pile-on in response to what even he knows is a complete media fabrication, and that he’s been an amnesty shill before by pushing the Curbelo discharge petition and caving to the cheap labor lobby. He may not be at the same level of treason as Lindsey Graham, but he’s already shown his true colors on mass immigration and that kind of stand, especially with the Trump and MAGA revolution, is toxic to the changes of Republicans throughout the state.
