It’s doubtful Scott would be on board with Trump’s judicial picks either, Senators in a given region usually help to recommend judges from the bar as part of the advise and consent, and with Scott’s sloppy stands on amnesty and gun rights, it’s likely be’d be the type to recommend a David Souter, just like “trusted” Republicans did for George HW Bush. The problem with a RINO traitor like Scott is that if he got into office, it would be difficult to replace him in the primary because of the nature and size of Senate races and the incumbents. At worst Nelson would be easy to beat in a future Senate race by a true conservative, but the reason for bringing this up now is we don’t have to wait until a “future race”. The Florida primary hasn’t happened yet, and many of the best conservative candidates have been elected after a late surge in the primaries even after the establishment GOPe RINO seemed like a lock. Florida has plenty of conservatives who would not only be true to the cause in replacing Scott, but also do a better job of rallying the base. I have solid conservative friends and relatives in Florida, and if Scott’s on the ticket, they stay home.
“Its doubtful Scott would be on board with Trumps judicial picks either”
That’s EXTREME fear. The only ‘Republican’ that I can remember whoever voted for less than 90% of a Republican president’s picks was Lincoln Chaffee, and Scott is NOWHERE close to Lincoln Chaffee.
You guys have to learn to win first. Florida is a purple state, we don’t win Senate seats by running people who talk and act like Roy Moore there. If we want Trump’s judges STOPPED DEAD, then we vote for the Democrat, or sit it out.
I, for one, want to see Trump’s judges CONFIRMED, and if it means someone a bit to the left of Roy Moore or the Sheriff, so be it.
