Bay State U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren spent another Fourth of July visiting troops overseas as she bolsters her foreign policy credentials — a crucial step if she plans on running for president in 2020.
Warren left Iraq and Kuwait yesterday after visiting with military personnel, foreign service officers and Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi. In a series of tweets, Warren described her trip, praising U.S. troops, but also called for more global effort to help maintain Iraq’s security.

No they don’t. But as professionals they hold their tongues. Best thing a lib pol could do would be to use the money and resources the trip would have cost to send something like a USO performance group instead. But they’re not that smart.
My recollection is a few years back, it could be a Clinton, when visiting troops, that the troops were all disarmed at that particular base.
I thought that was totally amazing, as when I was in a war zone we had loaded weapons stored in our rooms, they always stayed with us.
So to answer your question, even the lefties know they are unpopular and that many troops would rather shoot the bastards as look at them.

She’s a die hard New England lefty, that IMO is quite centrist compared to the more rabid Kalifornia grade nut jobs. Somewhere, right now, in some rancid sewer, the DNC powers that be have already selected their next 2020 candidate and will use all the powers Clinton used to secure the nomination. If elected, they (including Warren) do whatever they can to defund our precious Military, to insult those serving by insisting on sick rules such as allowing the sexually uncertain to join the ranks, and to undermine the morale, mission, and traditions of the uniformed services.
In 2003 when Hitlery and President Bush visited Iraq, the general sentiment among troops who’s services were directly needed to support both visits was all of them wanted to work on the President’s visit. In most all cases calls for volunteers to support the Hitlery visit went unanswered.

I can remember...mid-80s...stationed in Germany, and the base got notified that two Senators were going to show up in 72 hours. The personnel office did some kind of record search to find people from their states, and they called around to ensure at least a dozen people would be at some breakfast at the chow hall.
So one of the guys they called was in my office, and he said ‘no’. Later, the First Sgt comes around and says there are so few of you from that state, that you NEED to go. My associate explained...he became a resident of the state upon entry into the military for tax purposes, and he really didn’t know nothing much about the state (even the capital, or the governor). He ended up going for this hour-long meeting. His impression was that the Senator was half-way senile.
All Lie-a-watha is going to do is top off her campaign war chest with donations from the dupes. Her war chest would be regularly washed with soap nuts.
At least she is eligible, unlike Obama and Harris.
