When the Department of Justice announced this month that investigators had pieced together records found in a shredder belonging to the president’s former lawyer Michael Cohen, critics, legal experts, and journalists feverishly speculated about what they might contain.
Michael Avenatti, the lawyer for adult film star Stormy Daniels and Cohen's devoted nemesis, tweeted that the shredded documents could be a “huge problem.” MSNBC host Ari Melber devoted a large part of his program in May to the shredded documents and suggested that “something is going down.” Asha Rangappa, a former FBI agent and CNN analyst, tweeted: “This is not going to end well for the defense.”
Now, BuzzFeed News has obtained documents reconstructed by the FBI. A close examination shows that the records are a combination of documents that prosecutors already had, handwritten notes about a taxi business, insurance papers, and correspondence from a woman described in court filings as a “vexatious litigant” who claims she is under government surveillance.
Rebuilt from thin strips of paper, the shredded records are sometimes difficult to comprehend. One page doesn’t include full words and is a jumble of numbers, letters, and bar codes. One document appears to be part of an envelope. There are fragments of handwritten notes. There is an invitation to a reception in Miami to meet with business representatives from Qatar. Several of the records seem to be insurance forms for an apartment.

So The FBI is dirty. That won;t matter when Cohen finishes his ‘story’. The fact that he would try to destroy documents the way he did shows that he is stupid.

Forgive my sarcasm. If I told you the truth about how appalled I am at what the FBI and DOJ has become, you couldn’t print it. Not the old FBI I worked with nor even some very honorable people at DOJ who I have worked with over the years.
The Democrats have corrupted everything they touch. They are like the fungus that killed my 50-60 ft high,40-50 ft wide Kwanza Cherry Tree (a full bloomer). It started unseen under the bark and ate away the wood until the whole tree was killed from within.
They are doing this to America and have been since the Communist revolution of 1917.
Today, the Mueller/Rosenstein/Strzok/McCabe rats are the “new fungus” eating away America’s defenses and meaning, from within.

There is no substitute for victory and I hope that Representatives Nunes, Meadows, Gowdy, Gomert, Gratz, Jordan and a few sane GOP senators, blow open the corruption that are Democrats and MuellerRats.

Wait. Besides reassembling shredded documents with no relevance whatever to the case, let them be even more thorough. Maybe he used the incriminating shredded documents to mulch his tomato plants. So dig up his garden.
Next, snake out his toilet, in case he flushed them.
Then dive into every dumpster in a ten-mile radius to make sure he didn’t dump them there.
But wait. There’s more. Maybe the mother lode dumpster was already emptied. So go to Staten Island and go through the mountain of trash over there (wear a gas mask and take rodent repellent).
Maybe he was really clever, and gave the incriminating documents to his kids for a paper mache school project. So subpoena all the kids’ art class projects.
But wait. There’s more. Maybe he has a love child tucked away somewhere that he’s paying support for. So go after their art projects, too...
IIRC, Cohen is his real estate lawyer. There is no there there. Except maybe something which Trump wants to be made public.
