I just entertained myself for about an hour

That was a lot of wonderful vids

Trump is truly a freak of nature in politics

I never would have believed back in the very early 80s in Manhattan where I luckily called home in those days and he had just made that Commodore Hotel cum Hyatt Grand Central deal that was his lightning strike of initial momentum with tax abatement and revitalization incentives from a near bankrupt city that were worth a ton of windfall if the economy turned....which it did and he embarked on Trump Tower soon after

His public feuds with affable Ed Koch were hilarious on local TV

We are lucky to have him.....a driven man with a strong sense of self and goals...remarkable man

The Commmodore Hotel had a great location on top of Grand Central. I liked it because that’s where Scott & Zelda spun around in those old carousel-style doors for a half hour before being kicked out. By the late 70s, it was a sad dump. When Trump revitalized it, I took my mom there for drinks, overlooking Pershing Square. Then on to dinner at the Oyster Bar where she insisted on sitting at the counter every time.

We completely took Trump for granted and never gave him a second thought. Strange are the ways of New Yorkers!
