I wish more Americans of all political stripes understood this truth.

”Vietnam/Great Society” Johnson and “Stagflation” Carter are some stiff competition for that “honor.”

How bad was Carter? Ronald Reagan

• Whipped Inflation

• Got the country going again

• Finessed the Energy Crisis, and

• Transcended Communism.

Carter inherited the Communism mess, tho he certainly didn’t improve it any - and he inherited an ally known as Iran and left Reagan an enemy known as Iran. He inherited the Energy Crisis, and fought to stall progress on it. Reagan promised energy decontrol, and he delivered - and prices went down instead of up.
