Ridiculous. You are a citizen of a STATE. The state is the political entity you are a citizen of, as such entire states will secede and form armies. With there be interior fight/rioting, yes. Look at the NY draft riots for an example of that.

Look at the NY draft riots for an example of that. Maybe so. But the interior fighting/rioting could easily morph into internecine warfare between militias, as has happened in Lebanon, Syria, Yugoslavia, etc.
