(CNN)Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci encouraged President Donald Trump to "take the higher ground." "I would like to see him more turn the corner on this stuff and take the higher ground, so that we can stop with this sort of nonsense on your great show and talk about all of the economic advantages that are taking place," Scaramucci said in an interview Monday night with CNN's Erin Burnett on "Erin Burnett OutFront." His comments came in response to a tweet by Trump earlier Monday in which the President referred to California's Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters as "an extraordinarily low IQ person."

Trump's tweet was a reply to comments from Waters on Saturday encouraging supporters to publicly confront members of the President's Cabinet and "tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere."

Just substitute “Americans” for “English.” The principles hold.
I've seen enough of these "high ground" phonies to last me a lifetime.
All this "high ground" talk is just swamp code for "don't talk about this".

Sounds like he’s auditioning for a job in the media - many openings for former (even for one day) employees that criticize Trump.
I saw that dillweed on TV saying that the bad relations with the press are getting out of control, and that Trump needs to improve them by ratcheting down.
Like that is even remotely possible short of Trump leaving a signed confession that he is a Russian spy and committing suicide.
Mooch crawls and slithers like a snake. He knows nothing of the “high ground.”
Trump’s response was to Maxine Water trying to incite violence against his supporters. Unlike other pols, Trump called her out. Bravo. High ground belongs to the winners.
“The Black Hole” for the Democrats is the “illegal alien” issue.
They just cannot resist as they self-destruct.
No Mucci, he got where he is by taking on the low lifes and beating them at their own game. They are used to the turn the other cheek RINOs. Well, there is a new sheriff in town. Trump does not back down, he counterattacks quickly and goes for the juggler. He may not always be right but America loves a fighter, not a mealy mouth forked tongue back slapping baby kissing jerk.
