These were the social revolutionaries of the ‘60’s and ‘70’s who openly opposed the US government, parental authority; in fact all authority, etc. These people on campus demonstrated on cue, they dynamited government buildings, killed policemen, and wreaked havoc - anarchy was their goal. They openly sought to overturn the government by violence if need be. The Russians and CPUSA were busy among them recruiting new blood, and they were successful. Who knows how many of the progressives in the country today joined the movement then. Count anyone connected with the Weathermen among them. And what I have said is not opinion - it is fact!!
I am glad you posted it, but this isn’t really news, IMO. We have all known this for a long time.

Almost EVERYBODY with a clearance has had all of their extremely personal information put into the hands of the Chines and Russians, and who knows who else.

It happened at least 3 times, and to boot they gave a contract to some bogus credit protection outfit, supposed to be free credit monitoring for life, but haven’t seen any mail from them in years except a few postcards right after the events.
