During a visit to Ireland, fired FBI Director James Comey said Friday that he was so ashamed of current U.S. immigration policies that he considered telling Irish customs officials that he was Canadian when he arrived.
Comey made the remark during a public interview in Dublin, the Irish Times reported.
“I am ashamed of the way my country has acted with respect of those children. I am disgusted, I am horrified, I am embarrassed, I’m ashamed,” he said.

As for being viewed as a Canadian, I ask rhetorically "Why bring Canada into this?". We have more than our share of holier than thou liberal left pundits. Every day ad nauseum the television echoes CNN et al.
I smile wryly and observe the ongoing hearings of the Canadian indigenous people's complaints. In the 1960's, 1.6 million native Indian kids were removed from their reserves. Separated from their parents and put in residential schools many miles from the reserves. Many lost touch with their parents. Reparations being discussed now. Distress and misgivings getting full t/v coverage. Then back to bashing America for President Trump.
Rosens-franken-stein remains because Sessions does the bidding of his global masters who want him there. (Plus, Sessions is stupid beyond words...bad combination.)
POTUS could fire him (and all of them) but the electorate is so propaganized that the political consequences would be too damaging. They have him boxed in. November 6 will be the first opportunity to stop the coup. IMO.
So, the former head of the FBI considered lying to a customs official. That tells me a lot about how much he respects the law.

I am sure that Comey received a very warm welcome in Ireland. Anyone who hates the US is welcome in Ireland and to prove it they are giving Mrs. Clinton an award hoping for a barn-burning speech criticizing the US.

I have to agree with you. They lost my respect when the ‘toon was in there because they stopped being steely eyed crime stoppers and became inclusive women and diversity types. Now it appears they’ve been dirty throughout their sordid existence and that they have had a stranglehold on the elected officials in Washington. If Mr. Trump can change or eliminate the FBI he will have done us an enormous favor.
