Absolutely! Which should work in our favor in November and in 2020. As you point out, Hillary almost lied her way to victory in 2016, until she spilled the beans with her “basket of deplorables” crack. Then the mask was off.
No chance of that now. Trump is Hitler & everyone who voted for him is a Nazi; that is the orthodox Democrat line. He should run on “if they hate me, they hate you even worse”.

The Trump reelection campaign will be spoiled for choice when it coms to wacky, absolutely crazy comments made by high ranking politicians and party leaders directed at our President.
What I am amazed about is that pretty much ALL OF THEM are foaming at the mouth, teeth bared nut cases. Yes, they can get re-elected in their little bu#thole congressional districts, but on a national ticket they have to show some tiny bit of civility to hope for an election victory from the independents and uncommitted/too-busy-to-bother-with-politics voters.
I don't see any of that from the present field of candidates. They seem convinced they can win solely on their identity politics. I don't believe that to be the case in America today, not with a growing economy and low unemployment. If the economy doesn't tank I think Trump is a shoo-in for 2020...if he wants it.
