Pity the GOP; they don’t have a candidate?

Yes, they do have a candidate.

Here in Maine in the GOP primary on June 12th, the GOP had two candidates on the ballot.

One was an accountant named Max Linn. I never heard of him, but he ran many ads on radio and had yards signs all over the state with his name and the words, “Trump Strong.” He ran pro-Trump, “build the Wall” radio ads, and fully addressed the Trump agenda.

He also sent out colorful fliers.

However, Max Linn was disqualified before the primary because the people who obtained signatures to qualify Max Linn for the primary signed the names of deceased people and other unqualified people.

The other candidate was State Senator Brakey. He won by default. He was the man who successfully introduced a Constitutional Carry law in Maine.
