In the last 60 years Rhode Island has voted for the Democratic nominee every election except 1972 and 1984--and in both cases the winner's margin was fairly narrow.
Since the voters are not actually voting for the nominee but for electors pledged to vote for that nominee, shouldn't they make the electors release their tax returns?

4 guaranteed Democrat electoral votes for years to come. Rhode Island hasn't voted for a Republican President since Reagan in 1984. It's not like Trump has a chance there, or that those 3 or 4 votes will make or break him...
