DOJ reviewing conduct of paralegal who chased Kirstjen Nielsen from restaurant
Washington Examiner ^ | June 21, 2018

The Justice Department is reviewing the conduct of an employee who helped chase Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen from a Mexican restaurant on Tuesday, but First Amendment scholars say that she may be immune from workplace consequences.

Allison Hrabar, a Justice Department paralegal specialist and member of the Democratic Socialists of America, helped organize a dozen-person DSA-led contingent that chanted “shame” at Nielsen until she left MXDC Cocina Mexicana.

Hrabar came under intense scrutiny following the downtown D.C. protest, and political opponents demanded that she be fired for protesting Nielsen's role in separating suspected illegal immigrants from their children — a policy President Trump partially reversed Wednesday.

It seems like Secretary Nielsen’s employer should be providing more security

Pruitt has over a dozen bodyguards. I'd think she needs more in her position.

The restaurant was at fault. Multiple big guys should have grabbed the screamers by their soft parts and dragged them out the door.

The same way the restaurant would have tossed out a bunch of conservative leaning individuals if they had gone inside to heckle somebody from CNN, or an Obama era appointee. Ask them to leave, put the in house security people on them, and call the police.

I have not seen any evidence that Todd English or his managers did anything to stop the harassment and disturbance of the peace. If they tried good for them, but I haven't seen any evidence that they did.

The most sickening part of this story is that Allison Hrabar’s tactics worked flawlessly. She flustered Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen so much that the very next day she was standing over Trump’s shoulder as he signed an EO surrendering to Allison and the Democrat Socialists of America. I have no doubt that Nielsen threatened to resign if Trump didn’t sign her surrender document.

Wouldn't be the first time. She needs to be supported and she needs body guards and this DOJ employee needs to be fired for harassment of a government employee.

"...But if she’s just expressing her views about public issues, she is protected by the First Amendment.”

“If you see these people in public, you should remind them that they shouldn't’t have peace,” [Hrabar]said. “We aren’t the only ones who can do this. Anyone who sees Kirstjen Nielsen at dinner, anyone who sees anyone who works at DHS and ICE at dinner can confront them like this, and that’s what we hope this will inspire people to do.”

The First Amendment protects freedom of speech, but it also requires peaceable assembly. These so-called First Amendment scholars who are claiming her innocence do not wish to pair the fact that freedom of speech comes with the responsibility of peaceable assembly.

Chasing someone who is eating dinner out of a restaurant is not peaceable assembly, therefore their "speech" in the matter is not protected.

The left controls every HR department in every agency in the federal government. You can’t even get hired if the leftist gate guards find any evidence you are a Conservative.

Most restaurants don’t have in-house security to handle a group of offenders.

They called the police who were there and had them out within ten minutes.
