Thanks for bringing that up. I had never heard of it. My daughter owns the grandogs and surely is aware of this. I’ve heard vets ask her opinion LOL.
So I went and did research on it. Interesting...and somewhat spooky.
It sure was spooky. It was like a horror movie. That night my own dog turned on me as if he had no idea who I was, and he didn’t at that moment...I was plenty scared. I knew not to approach him to scold him, I just backed down the hallway. My husband was not home to experience that. He was here for other episodes. I did my research, figured it out and boy was I scared the more I read about it. That last night we had him I didn’t sleep, I just watched the clock, waiting to be able to dose the dog with lots of sedatives before our noon appointment. I did not cry when he was gone. I was relieved.
