As editor of Newsweek, Meacham's idiotic policies led to that publication being sold for a buck.

Howie Carr spent some time telling us that Meacham lives in Belle Meade TN, a very exclusive suburb where Al Gore also lived.
On Morning Joe today, Meacham condemned President Trumps notion that a country without borders is no country. Instead, Meacham loftily insisted:
Where I come from, the way you define a nation is not about how you keep people out, but how you treat the country itself, how you treat the rest of the world.
That made me wonder: where does Meacham come from? Turns out, Meacham lives in Belle Meade, TN, a super-exclusive enclave where the per capita income is by far the highest in the state and among the highest in the nation. Oh, and its 98.64% lily-white.

I don’t read his rag. That was the first time I voted. I recall most of the special forces NCO’s and officers at CCS liked Wallace’s VP Gen Lemay. We needed more bombs and he said more bombs. I sent my ballot in from Ban Me Thout East.

When George Wallace encountered a long-haired heckler who was attempting to interrupt his discourse, he replied, "'You need a haircut. I thought you had a barbers' strike here for a moment.'"

I could picture Donald Trump responding to a heckler the same way.

No it is not.
It is however, more like Ross Perot gets another run at things, after America has been COMPLETELY sold out for the last generation and a half.
It is, in a way, a lot like that.

In 1986, Trump joined several other prominent Americans, such as Rosa Parks and Muhammad Ali, as recipients of an Ellis Island Award. (NAACP award)

George Wallace was a liberal democrat. Donald Trump is a conservative Republican.
