You realize we do not allow DNA gathering in these proceedings right? The courts have ruled (unlike US citizens, say for No-Refuse DWI) that cannot be gathered for illegal entry.
These folks are released on their own recognizance, never returned to their country.

No more release on own recognizance, otherwise why would detention even be mentioned? This is not gonna be a “pit stop” anymore, read the EO
As to real parental rights, I am sure that they have already contemplated this before creating and signing the EO

That is not what the EO says. I guess a “refugee” only becomes an Illegal if his request is denied.
They can compel DNA gathering on those seeking asylum.
It is a law enforcement issue.
