It was my understanding that enlisted men and women's position was described as a "rating", not a rank. Aren't E-(?) describing an enlisted?
Officers are ranked....

Alright, I can now put in for Space Shuttle Door Gunner.
A CTRC holds the rank of E7, enlisted, and the rating is Communications Technician (R branch).

But these are strange times.
Originally, it was to be credited as "based on the Robert Heinlein book," but Virginia, his widow, was so incensed when she saw what they were doing, she demanded that they remove his name from the credits.
I am quite angry about the writer and director, for showing the military as a quasi-fascist organization, when in the book, it was a noble organization, with high morals and goals.
But then, that's the way the left looks at conservatives and the military anyway.
