Interesting picture. Note that the camera angle is very carefully chosen so as NOT to show the open gate to the rear of the “cage” or the desks, chairs, and computer equipment to the right. This is obviously the queue area for in-processing, and has nothing to do with actual detention.
The Faux outrage of the left-
Kids are ‘torn away’ from their LEGAL citizen parents every day in America yet the left aren’t crying about them- Nope- they just cry about ILLEGALS who break the law and have their kids removed from them temporarily while processing takes place-
LEGAL citizens in the US lose custody of their children every single day- their children are ‘ripped away’ from them every day- 1000’s and 1000’s of kids- Yet dems are silent on that- Why? Because courts have a ‘legal right’ to remove kids from parents who commit crimes, are unfit parents, or who abandon them or abuse them-
ILLEGAL citizens are BREAKING THE LAW- and they know damn well they will be separated from the kids when they do so- but they DO NOT CARE about their children. IF they did, they would go through LEGAL procedures to become citizens of this great nation of Ours!
I say put the kids to work in sweat shops- make good use of their time here in the states illegally. The left will love that idea-
Why isn't Mexico feeding its own people?
and just for the record- the Trump administration needs to get the message out “IF the liberals are so concerned about ILLEGALS breaking our laws and being separated from their children- then FUND THE WALL so that we keep EVERYONE out, this will eliminate the need to separate children from their parents”
A dispassionate and reasoned answer to the problem of separating children from their parents. So far, no attempt to answer from my anti-Trump friends.
(And this article is from the notoriously never-Trump National Review.)

Fine, brand them so we know if they cross back over and dump them immediately anywhere back across the border. Oh, the horrors!!! Well, too bad. The first 100 will shock the criminal parents into stopping this practice.
Kids with impetaigo and other highly contaigous diseases are quarentined. Such practices that are not permitted in American big city schools but thatprevent the disease transission can be utilized in nonprogressive situations
...refused entry to families showing up with asylum requests citing a lack of detention space, leaving migrants camping out on the border bridge with scant food and water...
So, where’s Mexico with supplies?
That’s why they call it detention. You are locked up in a well, cage.
Who said those are their parents? Maybe some of those are child smugglers?
Best way to find out is separate them and ask questions...
Tell it to your loser candidate, Chris.
Kids? Looks like a bunch of young men ready to join ms-13.
Whatever happens to those children is the fault, first of their parents, second of their national governments, and third of the government of Mexico which permitted them transit.
It has nothing to do with me or with my government.
The senators visited a detention facility for children 10 years and up in Brownsville. “Im reflecting on how Sessions cited the Bible as justification for tearing children from their parents,” Van Hollen tweeted, citing the attorney general’s comments last week. “I dare Sessions to look these children in the eye and tell them that the Bible demands this cruelty.”
“Would it be more humane to have them in a general population setting at risk from adults?”
What the democraps never acknowledge is that these “cages” don’t just keep the “children” in, they also keep bad hombres out. If would-be pedophiles, child traffickers, etc. knew where they could get their paws on a bunch of vulnerable, unsecured young people, what would stop them from abducting them? This is for the illegals’ safety, too.
