I believe that the main reason (besides laziness) for using the unauthorized server was to avoid FOI disclosures of the seamy side of the Clinto Foundation AND the things she had been doing as Secretary of State with Uranium One and other influence peddling and need we say espionage, that is cash for information, both technical and political.
