There is plenty of research to show that smoking pot impairs lung function. There is plenty of evidence to show that smoking pot can cause mental issues.

Many approved drugs have negative side effects.

There is plenty of issues to show that smoking pot leads to the desire to take other drugs.

Wrong - all that's been shown is that if one is inclined to take drugs, marijuana is one of the first drugs one finds (alcohol being another).

You can point to drugs that have been derived from the marijuana plant

And to the plant itself: "There is conclusive or substantial evidence that cannabis or cannabinoids are effective: For the treatment of chronic pain in adults (cannabis)" (emphasis added)

(maybe three or four?)....but in ALL those cases there are existing drugs that do a much better job.

MUCH better for EVERY patient? I call BS - provide evidence.

And in (I think) most of those drugs the active ingredient isn't THC, but CBD.

So what? Both are found in the marijuana plant.

And Marinol doesn't even use the marijuana plant...it uses a synthetic THC.

Which makes it better how?

the propaganda you push MISLEADS people into believing that marijuana, ESPECIALLY SMOKED marijuana is the cure for just about anything that ails someone.

No, that's you desperately flailing at the straw men you've propped up. I never said nor implied anything of the sort.

I’ve said my piece. I’m not here to correct all the propaganda you’ve been brainwashed with.
