I’m so sorry to hear this. Yes, this is a “rough” day for you.

I go through periods of really missing my folks, too. It’s usually during times when I’m feeling vulnerable and unsteady. I miss just knowing they’re a phone call away ... and if worse comes to worse, just drive away.

But then I’ll find some strength and some humor and I can’t help feeling they were able to reach me even without a phone. ... especially Dad. When I can see the humor in something I think is terrible, I know it’s from him. :)

Thanks Had a friend just call out of the blue. He used to spend hours sitting and talking to dad on the porch. They are coming to visit this afternoon God sent.
