group had free time & To be honest I did not think that there is such beauty in Syria. In the mountains #latakia hid the ancient castle of Salah ad-Din. These are the most breathtaking views I have seen. I still do not understand how they built it 1000 yrs ago.

So many times good days can bring back bad memories, I understand. My grandma, mom and sister all passed within a few days of mother’s day. I always say if I make it through the month of May there’s a good chance I have another year in this life. Not to make light of it, just how I handle it.

For us it’s the 17th
Grandfather died 17 of December
Grandmother 17 of March
Mom and grandma 17 of June
Dad said if he made it past 17th he’d be good for another month. LOL (He died the 4th of June. Moms birthday was the first.
