My doctor prescribed a topical cream containing this drug and others (a “compound”) to rub into my back for arthritis pain. It worked very well. EMS personnel are not administering those kind of doses. More like 5ml per 100 pounds of body weight. There is big difference between a sedative and anesthesia. But on your math you are correct about knocking you down and out. But then you need to be constantly managed to keep breathing........
