Something that can only hasten Google’s collapse is the full on SJW environment created within Google.
They can’t have more than a small handful of competent coders remaining in their employment pool. And those are probably being hunted down to be sent to HR because “competence is racist” or some such idiocy.
I know a few who have bailed and yes they are being hunted down. It is not a joke.
That very thing killed Kodak.
I think that may be true! Google’s original search algorithm was a creation of genius, but many of their other projects have been losers.

Leftists are parasites. They find a successfull business and infest it, they purge anyone who does not believe their political nonsense, to lock out competition they collude with government to like on regulations that only their company can satisfy, they feast off of the cash flow until the company fails, repeat.
Google has some pretty good coders. Most are in Hyderabad, Dublin and Mountain View but basically scattered across the planet. If you are a CS grad in the top 10% of your class from one of the top 25 universities in the US or one of the best universities in Europe or Asia they will come looking for you. Of those who get jobs, basically it’s like everywhere else. 20% of the people do 80% of the actual work.
