President Trump declared in a spur-of-the-moment interview with "Fox and Friends" Friday morning that he wants people to sit at attention for him like they do for North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
Kim stands accused of leading a murderous regime that starves its own people. But Mr. Trump has heaped praise on Kim since meeting with him in Singapore, saying repeatedly that the two have "good chemistry."
"Hey, he is the head of a country and I mean he is the strong head," Mr. Trump told Fox News' Steve Doocy on the White House lawn Friday. "Don't let anyone think anything different. He speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same."
Pressed by a reporter about those remarks moments later, Mr. Trump said he was "kidding."
"I'm kidding, you don't understand sarcasm," the president said.
The spur-of-the-moment White House lawn interview was, in the memory of those present, unprecedented.

Around my neck of the woods the saying is, “Sit up and take notice.” Anyone who lets on they didn’t KNOW he was just yanking their chain, should have a boot in the kiester.

Sometimes a reporter has insight, brilliant insight. And our media could be so talented, but their prejudices control them.
And, somewhat, I do blame Fox News. While they did go to the right in the early days to capture an unrepresented audience, they also brought the “flash” to media (car chases, murder trials, women in short skirts, flashy sets).
And we bought it.
But the ingrained prejudices coming out of our journalism schools has returned even to Fox. I think they still seem to try to be “Fair and Balanced” or centrist (I haven’t watched in years, but what I read on FR...), they seem to let that “slip” show more and more.

Trump’s comment was mild by comparison ... yet See? BS! “News” tries to make it into the crime of the millennium.
He does it on purpose knowing the attention it will gain. He knows the old adage, “the only bad press, is no press”.
Lol! Love it when POTUS turns the MSM inside out.
I don’t think she said Muslim Men
It was their religious leaders
I’m still laughing over his “Tim Kaine is a total stiff” comment. :)
When the President speaks, his people (in this context he means his party leaders) should sit up and pay attention - I agree. The media can and will contort the words, but what he said is quite reasonable in a polite society.
I think he is doing it on purpose to DESTROY and overwhelm the idiots in the "MSM"...he's getting so much "play" and using humor, which they are sooooo stupid as to not see, that ultimately people will wake up....IMHO.
You could almost hear the gnashing of reporters’ teeth when DJT said Obama lost the Crimea to Russia. I was amused.
“my people” is going to be the next rallying cry you hear all over the news for the next two weeks.
They have to drown out the thought, that they can’t stand, of Trump being successful in Singapore.
I’m now on to the “DEN OF THIEVES” comment he made this morning....baawwwwwaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh
Not sure Ann was Kidding...
When is CBS going to quit taking the bait?
SeeBS? ROTFL.
50+ minutes of candid Trump, and thats the only take-away by the dishonest propaganda conjurists of CBS.
Based upon the date, I have no doubt she was serious.
When they are crushed to dust???
