Kid Rock will rally with U.S. Army combat veteran John James, a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Michigan, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.
The announcement comes after Rock, a Michigan native, contemplated a Senate bid for several months before announcing he would not run in October. Rock later signaled early support for James when he invited him to sit court-side at a Detroit Pistons game in January.
“Kid Rock’s appearance on stage with John James would be a game changer if he formally endorses,” Matt Frendewey, a former spokesperson for the Michigan Republican Party, told TheDCNF. “If James gets a formal endorsement, it would be a massive boost for him and a devastating blow for his opponent Sandy Pensler, who recently came under attack for disparaging comments about the president.” (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Republican Senate Candidate Questions Trump’s Wealth, Says He Speaks Like A Fourth Grader [VIDEO])
James’s “Rally to Take Back Michigan” will take place Tuesday in the Detroit suburb of Novi. As well as Rock, Rob O’Neill, the retired Navy SEAL who shot Osama Bin Laden, will also speak at the event. O’Neill endorsed James in late 2017.
The primary will take place on Aug. 7, 2018. The winner will take on Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow in the Nov. 6 primary.

His ads are all pro-Trump. I’ve not heard what he supposedly said but I’d take it with a grain of salt.
Good news - while I was not very excited about a Kid Rock run given some of his views, if he can get James some publicity that would be excellent. John James is more than a “generic Republican” and that is what is needed if we are to have any hope of defeating Stabenow - bring some youth to the caucus as well which would be good for the future of the party - he and Josh Hawley going to the Senate at the same time would be great.
Pensler himself would be a better matchup against Gary Peters in 2020 than against Stabenow...assuming there are no other decent candidates waiting in the wings.

It’s a pretty huge endorsement, at least for those under 50. Kid Rock has been around now for decades and is a legend - packs every seat in the stadium every time.

more and more blacks are seeing the light leaving the plantation. They may be able to start getting ahead in this world. Probably take a generation or so to flush the effects of liberalism (socialism) out of their (black) communities. Thank God it is finally happening

The biggest loser this up and coming election cycle will not be the DNC, oh yes they are gonna get their @zzes handed to them but it will be Mitch McConnell. He will have Stundeans from this ( an Italian word for stomach agida ), and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
I don't think 11 or 12 Trumpian Freshman Senators is out of the question.
With that said the race I am watching besides James v Stabenow is Liz Warren vs. Geoff Deihl in MA. I got a ton of crap for posting about it here, but then again everyone thought I was nuts when I told them Trump would win, take Michigan, and the Stock Market would Rock.
I want this one as bad if not worse than Stabenow being gone, truncate Warren's carrier now, she is not a candidate in 2020....
I asked my friend what he thought of James and Pensler. He said he supported James and that it was an easy choice. He said Right to Life only endorsed James and that James is the only one working hard. He said Pensler is lazy, a liberal, hasn't been to his county, and is trying to buy the election with TV and internet ads. He followed it up with "still better than Stabenow."

I love your assessment. I am doing whatever I can to get JJ to DC. He is an incredible gift to this country and we *must* take this opportunity to have him working for us.
On 6/17/18, I sent the campaign an email asking when I could expect to receive the shirt and never received a response.
On 6/25/18 I finally called his campaign office and inquired about the shirt and the representative said he would look into it and get back with me.
Later that evening I received the following email reply:
"I wanted to let you know that I looked into the shipment of your shirt and have an update for you.
There is a 7-10 day window for shipment, so your shirt should be arriving shortly."
7 to 10 day window? As of this writing on 6/29/18, it's already been 16 days since I placed the order and if it arrives, it won't be till next week, almost 3 weeks later if it does arrive.........
No longer impressed with the James campaign, whoever is running it is doing a piss poor job. Pensler's adds are killing him and most of my conservative friend have never even heard of James.........
If you pm me your address I have an extra yard sign I can send you next week.
