Chinese solar panels are no good, in my experience!
And making them produces a LOT of nasty stuff.
Hey, it's not all bad stuff. I bought a solar-powered plastic cat that wags its arm, works great in the sunlight. Solar is good for novelty effects.
For powering my home and tools, I will never consider using solar. Not enough wattage for the effort and cost. And Chinese solar is not good enough yet.
