Very sad news. He’s a smart man, a little too much of an establishment guy—especially over the past 10 years or so, but clearly a brilliant man.

I’m not a medical doctor or anything, so I’m not really sure of the biological or anatomical science of it all, but I’m pretty sure that being an ass unrestrained by not being an ass can also cause blindness.

Charles Krauthammer is not a rabid anti Trumper. Charles is not rabid. He has a reason, however misguided I may think it is, for every thing he does. He is not one of the ignorant, nasty, sex obsessed liberals of any sex, who are paid extremely well to vomit out whatever stupid, unverified thing that they can possibly get away with that they fantasize will hurt Pres Trump.

Sad news. Heartbreaking really. He started in the Carter Admin but ‘came around’. His intelligence is beyond question and I always listened to him. Prayers for Dr Krauthammer.

I thought that at one time, then I heard (or read) something that made me believe he’s not a deep thinker.
He said he had been invited to George Will’s house for a dinner honoring Obama after his 2008 election but before taking office. He C.K. was excited to go because he wanted to meet Obama. He “wasn’t sure” what kind of president Obama would be and meeting the man might help him decide.
I’m thinking, “Really?!? You’re not sure what kind of a president Obama would be?” We all knew for sure that Obama would be a terrible president! How could Mr. Genius Krauthammer not know? Any respect for his alleged amazing mind went down the drain for me.
I am sorry about his situation. Even though being misguided often, he seemed like a decent person. He overcame so much to be successful, and there’s a lot to be said for that.

Being confined to a wheelchair we used to wonder what branch of medicine he'd go into and all we could come up with was either radiology or psychiatry...turns out we were right.
I’m not making any accusations, Krauthammer has admitted to being an atheist.
If you pay attention, you’ll see my post #128 was an expression of good will.
I can appreciate your good will but it came across as a lecture.
I just checked his wikipedia page and it seems to suggest that he wasn't.Can't recall exactly how it was put.
I just did a little research and Krauthhammer seems to be more of an agnostic. He said atheism makes no sense.

Yup,I think that that’s what I read...something along the lines of him believing that atheism is illogical.
If he expressed himself as such (”a rabid anti-Trumper”) it had to be in the first 6 months of the DJT Presidency. Krauthammer basically hasn’t been heard from in TEN MONTHS.
