If Trump and Kim Jong-un were going to have a bit of a summit to try and mend relations and they wanted you to cater, what would you serve? asked a TMZ reporter.
Hemlock,” Bourdain deadpanned.

Anthony Bourdain says he would poison Trump if given the chance
Hemlock, Bourdain simply replied when asked by TMZ what he would serve Trump and the North Korean dictator.
Hemlock is a poisonous plant that has been used as a method of execution. The video was published by TMZ last week, but is just now gaining attention.
When reached by Fox News, Bourdain, apparently joking, said that he meant to say kale instead of hemlock.
CNN recently fired Kathy Griffin for posing with a bloody head made to look like Trump. The liberal network also cut ties with Believer host Reza Aslan after his anti-Trump rhetoric on Twitter was widely criticized. Its unclear if Bourdain would suffer any consequences for his rhetoric, but its worth noting that Parts Unknown is significantly more popular than programs hosted by Griffin and Aslan.
This isnt the first time the Parts Unknown host has spoken negatively about Trump. Bourdain, who famously dined with Barack Obama on an episode of Parts Unknown, told TheWrap last year that he wouldnt eat with then-candidate Trump if given the chance.
Absolutely fing not, Bourdain said. Ive been a New Yorker most of my life I would give the same answer that I would have given 10 years ago, when he was just as loathsome.
Bourdains Parts Unknown is a CNN original series in which the celebrity chef travels the world to showcase food and culture. He also told TMZ that he wouldnt be interested in filming an episode in North Korea because most of the population are starving.
As for Bourdains thoughts on Kim Jong Un, the CNN star called him a chubby, evil little fk.
CNN did not immediately respond to Fox News request for comment.
We are better than they are, never forget that. But they're better at Total War politics than we are, and if we don't shape up, the orcs and goblins will prevail over us men of middle earth.
Even sadder. If God gave us an opportunity to spend 5 minutes in hell, we would could out of it wishing/pleading that no one would go there.
Another “shovel ready” democrat.
Okay, just joking.
RIP
“Selfish to the end”
Sorry for anyone to reach that point in their life where that is all they have,
Its a spirit their battling against, that once it can no longer destroy others or attempt to, it destroys the host where it has influence, other times its a sacrifice like happened during the most recent Burning Man occult festival.
Well thank you for your DU values.
“Who knows? It might even start a trend among the left.
The more the merrier!
“To me, it points to our spiritual vapidness in comparison to them. It’s the only thing that explains the[ir higer incidence of suicide].
I think you have it correct. I am at the tail-end of the boomers and grew up around them in the NE. They were the young adults running the world I grew up in. Most were all about themselves and their generation’s zeitgeist. They did not think of secondary or follow on consequences. It was all about them and now. They liked to exert power and influence over other people and situations and had no concern for consequences. They did not consider themselves accountable for anything they did. I pretty much despised them.
I had runs ins with them many times when I was a young teenager coming to blows a few occasions. They didn’t think twice about beating up a 13 or 14 year old who mocked or criticized their ridiculous behavior. I ended up identifying them as deeply flawed and likely irredeemable. They and their world view would have to completely fail for them to mature into reason, civility and consideration of others. I learned to back down to avoid conflict. They were just spoiled children in adulthood. Big children with big problems.
The only ones I liked were some Vietnam vets but they were, culturally speaking, subterranean. They kept a quiet and low profile. They knew they were outcasts in the world of their peers.
I can say I kept an eye on several of the ones I had run ins with and, to a man, they all had hard landings. Some worse than others. Imo Mr. Bourdain has landed.
Im so filled with fear and rage now that I cant even deal with the question honestly, added Bourdain. Were in a point in history where I never ever thought we would be at.
Was thinking that too.
He was so talented, yet seemed to be an immensely troubled soul. I had little to nothing in common with politically, yet could live vicariously through his dining, cooking and travel. He was my favorite person on TV when he was on Travel Channel. I refused to watch the CNN show.
May he rest in peace. From his writings I doubt that he ever found the Lord, but I hope so. I hope that none of you celebrating your fellow man’s death consider yourself Christians. It is shameful.
Thank you. I am with you. I am embarrassed for these people; their comments say more about their character than about this site.
He sold me with vegetarians and their hezbolla like cousins the vegans.
In one of his books he advocated culinary knife skills. He thought being able to cut an onion should be a school requirement. I wish he would have spent some time advocating that.
I felt his tone got angrier and in some cases bitter the more he wrote.
This wasnt fair to his daughter. Prayers for her.
Hey, do us a favor go over to the DU and lament the demise of this certified leftist POS and leave us alone - OK?
“Anthony Bourdain, a gifted storyteller and writer who took CNN viewers around the world,..`
People like him who are perpetually on the go and traveling all over the place are running...from themselves. Self eventually catches up.
Well thank you for your DU values.

Don’t lecture me about values, and keep your sanctimonious nonsense to yourself.
Thank you for that Laz.
I’m shocked by Bourdain’s suicide. I learned so many interesting ideas from him and his travels to different cultures. I haven’t had a tv for years so didn’t see him on CNN, but his politics are utterly beside the point today.
Only timing between the tw, almost to the minute. Guess which story will dominate the news tonight, and maybe over the weekend
