There is nothing to pardon. He can’t be indicted until he is no longer President. If he wanted to pardon himself in advance of a pending impeachment, he wouldn’t pay a political price as his tenure as President would already be over. Until such time that he is impeached, the President cannot be indicted. It has to be that way or (as we are seeing now) a crooked DOJ/FBI and crooked partisan judges could hi-jack every election.
