The world should stand up to Washington's bullying behavior, Iran's foreign minister was quoted as saying on Sunday by state media in a letter to counterparts, as the top diplomat intensifies efforts to save a nuclear deal after a U.S. exit.
U.S. President Donald Trump pulled out last month from the 2015 accord between Iran and world powers that lifted sanctions on Tehran in exchange for curbs to its nuclear program.
The remaining signatories of the deal - France, Germany, Britain, Russia and China - still see the international accord as the best chance of stopping Tehran developing a nuclear weapon and are trying to salvage it.
In a letter from Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to his counterparts last week, he asked "the remaining signatories and other trade partners" to "make up for Iran's losses" caused by the U.S. exit, if they sought to save the deal.

Show us the contract or treaty you signed and we’ll abide. Otherwise, get ready for the pain!
I guess I should have clarified that I was addressing “the World”. Not you. Sorry. I goofed up.
Obama seconds this move, ponders becoming a mullah.
Iran is obviously being advised by Nancy Pelosi.
This is hilarious. Iran wants to stop developing nukes so badly they are begging the world to stay in the deal so they don’t have to go back to making nukes. You know Iran, you really don’t need an agreement if your goal is to stop making nukes. The other “powers” don’t think their peasants are even remotely curious as to what Iran REALLY gets out of this agreement.
“...The world should stand up to Washington’s bullying behavior, Iran’s foreign minister was quoted as saying...”
Not if they know what’s good for them!
No country on Earth heeds their call. The Iranian regime stands alone, except for some empty words, and some petty smuggling.
Iran’s call to the world, plus five bucks, will get you a cup of coffee from Starbucks...
deal or no deal, there’s nothing stopping Iran from not having nuclear weapons ...
The stability of their central bank is real danger now, and that's where Obama's nuclear deal comes into play. Most of it was unfreezing $100 - $150 billion in assets, not the $1.7 billion in cash. They need cash and assets to stabilize their central bank. Iran would really like having those dollars right now.
Trump is playing the same game with Iran as he is with the DPRK. Wait them out until they are really hurting, then invite them to negotiate.
AND John Kerry, plus whoever is backing him. Remember the Paris meeting with Iranian Diplomats.
Iran:
We’re upset because Trump has called our bluff. Dear world, help us maintain our status as the world’s number one supplier of terror and mayhem in the world.
Help us obtain nuclear weapons so we can use them eventually on you...
And we have folks right here wanting to stand with Germany, China and others to save the 3/4 trillion yearly global trade imbalances because the road to righteousness can be inconvenient in the short term....they think those who would like us to stop financing countries who hate us are the real globalists because they fear their beer may go up a dime a case if Aluminum prices go up....much better to throw hundreds of billions away each year because they’re comfortable with the current gouge-America status.
