Well I can’t with just one article. In terms of my E.U. observations, I can only going off of my own experiences of living in pre-Brexit UK, and spending some time in Greece and Italy. Germany is apparently doing very well but I am happy Trump is sticking up for America. I think trade agreements should be mutually beneficial and not so one sided. Unlike Merkel, I think Iran is awful and should be sanctioned. I also don’t like how cozy Merkel and Macron are willing to be with Putin’s Russia given the situation in Ukraine and Middle East

April 27, 2018 - Trump hosts 'extraordinary woman' Merkel for White House talks
But the visit got off to a surprisingly warm start, and the body language showed. The two leaders exchanged kisses on the cheek as Merkel emerged from her limousine, and Trump then praised her as "an extraordinary woman" as they sat together in the Oval Office.

"We actually have had a great relationship right from the beginning but some people didn't understand that," Trump told reporters. "But we understand it, and that's what's important."

I agree about Iran, Merkel should spend less time listening to nuclear power UK who sits on the UN Security Council and often boasts of a "Special Relationship with the US".

Oh. Russia. I don't know what you mean by cozy because Europe has been very supportive of sanctions against Russia. Maybe a mixed bag at worse because of energy supply in the interest of national security.

It's strange you mention being cozy with Russia though - considering President Trump has indicated many times he is seeking better relations with them.

Having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. Only "stupid" people, or fools, would think that it is bad!
